Origami Text
Fold & Unfold Knowledge
Origami Text is a free and Open Source app (MIT License) for reading and interacting with EPUB in the Origami Text style.
It is based on the premise that since knowledge is to a large extent about connections, our media and the substrate upon which we entrust our knowledge, should be built around supporting rich connections and interactions.
The document format, originally based on the Origami Text variant of Visual-Meta, is subject to change as we work out best practices for what such as future document format should actually be and what it should be able to do.
This is a Future Text Lab project, feel free to join the dialogue.
